In the Margins is a book blog dedicated to supporting and promoting books written by neurodiverse authors, authors of color, and/or authors of the LGBTQIAP+ community, and books the feature characters of these identities. These identities are often not found in mainstream media, and so they’re referred to as marginalized identities. In the Margins aims to bring attention to books that have characters of these marginalizations or are by authors of these marginalizations, so they they can make it into the hands of more readers.
About the Blogger
Surina is an avid reader who spent most of her childhood buried in books, and who hopes to spend more of her life doing the same. She is perpetually tired and likes to spend her (nonexistent) free time complaining to her dog. Some of her favorite books are Aru Shah and the End of Time, Timekeeper, and The Priory of the Orange Tree. You can find her on Twitter and Instagram.
